A Study on the Estimate of Residential Mobility in Local Cities |
| Abstract |
This paper examines various things such as residential mobility behavior, life cycle composing of residents circumstantially, standard of living, housing characteristics and other variables and also studies their relationship among the dwellers of apartment projects in Kwangju, Sunchun,Mokpo. The study finding are as follows.1. Show that the frequency of residential moving is more related to life cycle variable the level of living standard. While in Kwangju, family life cycle and period of married life and the age of housewife and eldest son, have high relationship with moving, one more variable of moving experience is indicated in Sunchun, school career of householder in Mokpo.2. Show that life cycle is also closely connected with residential period than living condition. Variables of a period married life and life cycle have close relation with duration of residence in Kwangju, number of used rooms in addition that in Sunchun, moving experience in Mokpo.3. By the eatimating formula being able to forecast moving frequency and residential period, the significance of moving frequency is indicated 0.3616 and residential period 0.2938 in Kwangju, whereas moving frequency 0.4658 and residential period 0.2617 in Sunchun, and yet in Mokpo moving frequency is showed 0.2881 and residential period 0.2155.Consequently, we can find out that the change of life cycle is the most important factor of residential mobility irrespective of region and residential mobility is highly influenced not only by many variables building up residents circumstance but also by a variety of mechanism related in housing enviroment. |
