A Study on the Architectural History of Residence Management of the lineage of Henam Yoon |
| Abstract |
The lineage of Henam Yoon have lived in Henam area for about 500 years, and have many architectural heritages of its own at the same area. Nok-Woo-Dang is its head family's residence, and it has influenced on the other houses and pavilions of the lineage. This study show the architectural relationship between the two, and investigate the history of architectural management of the head family. Meanwhile, Nok-Woo-Dang has ㅁ-shape plan, which can not be easily found in Chonnam Province, and it has some other unique architectural elements. This study also try to clarify its meanint in the history of Korean traditional house architecture. |
