Abstract |
This experimental research is to develop a more effective method of shear reinforcement, which is applied to the steel beam-RC column connection. The specimens are composed of steel beam, RC bracket, and RC column. The crack pattern and load-deflection relationship under cyclic loading of the subassemblages are investigated through the test. Based on the test results using various types of the connection, a comparative analysis was carried out between the shear strength of experiment and regulations. It is turned out, among the tested types, that the band plate reinforcementwas the most effective to enhance the shear strength. |
