A Study on the Utilization for the Kyongrodang and it`s Floor Plan Type in Rural Areas |
| Abstract |
This study investigates how the aged living at rural areas use the Kyongrodang under a given conditions and how the plan structures of the facilities are, As the result of the investigation, the fellowing conclusions are obtaind.(1) The reasons why they visit the Kyongrodang are to satisfy their desire for joining others and for enjoying their leisure, they want to have a pleasure time with good facilities and interesting program suitable to their conditions and environment.(2) LT type 73.5% of the Kyongrodang except recently constructived one. Because the floor plan structure of the LT type is very simple and most of the Kyongrodang are using the existing village center, granary or remodelled houses. (3) The mean area of the LTK-typed Kyongrodang is 54m2 for man and woman and 81m2 for the unisex, which is larger than those of LT-type as much as 10m2 for the former and 18m2 for the later, respectively. |
