| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to clarify 1) the representational schema which has ruled the plastic world of Kim Jung-up's architecture, 2) its process of visualization, 3) the relation between Kim Jung-up's architectural language and its schema, Through this study, we can extract three representational schemata ;1) The schema I is representaional schema formed by the reiteration of thick lines. This reflects the linear flow that characterizes Kim Jung-up's architecture.2) The schema II is represented by organic and growing circles. This schema plays un important role in designing plans.3) The schema III is lines of an acute angle. This endows the soft curves with a strong tension. |
