| Abstract |
This paper is to find out students' visual perception pattern of Architectural form, especially concernint traditional styles through preference rating scales methods. The rating test results are analyzed through SPSS/PC+ after pre-test and main test for 258 students.It is mad clear that the students have higher preference to traditional styles and their preference tends to vary according to the environments in which they grew up. Their perception pattern is considered as formulated by the style and type of each building. It is also suggested tat further study concerning man's preception pattern of architectural form is very essential to architectural design and theory. |
