An Experimental Study on The Shear and Bond Properties in Reinforced Concrete Member with High-Strength Lightweight Concrete |
Abstract |
In order to investigate the shear and bond porperties of reinforced high-strenth lightweight concrete members, the push-off,pull-out tests and monotonic loading tests of simply supported beams were performed. The concrete compressive strength(f'c),difference of lightweight and n-ormal concrete reinforcement ratio, shear span to effective depth ratio(a/d) and supplementary ties enclosing the intermediate longitudinal bars were selected asexperimental variables. The results of this experimental study are as follows; In shear tests, lightweight concretespecimens have almost same maximum shear strength with that of normal concrete specimens and on bond tests, the maximum bond strength of lightweight concrete specimens is about 10~30% lower than that of normal concrete. |
