A Study on Establishment of Construction Management Contract System in the Korean Construction Industry |
| Abstract |
Building complete construction contract systems including contractual arrangments and contract documents is one of the most important components for the success of a construction project because all construction works are done within these systems. The contract systems for the construction management project are no exception. However,since the Korean construction industry has no experience on the construction management system which will be enforced mainly to the goverment construction projects in the near future, proper contract systems must be established before its enforcement. This study is to provide the basic but important guidelined which should be considered in building these new contract systems. The current contractual problems in the contract systems are investigated and analyzed through the comparison of AIA Construction Supervision Contract Systems and the suggeations are made based on the results. |
