The Structural Changes of Construction Industries in 1980-1990 |
Abstract |
The Purpose of this study is to analys the structural changes of construction industries in 1980-1990. The structural changes of construction industries was analysed in the aspects of input and demand structures. The main methodologies are input-output analysis and structural path analysis. The results are as followings;First, the structure of construction industries has been changed in 1980-1990. In the aspect of input structure, the service-telecommunicational input was increasing in the construction industries production. The increasing rate of service-telecommunicational input was 25-50%. Second, the demand for construction industries was increasing in case of most industries except for the manufacturing industries. The construction industries are playing a great role in the productivity of most of the industries as year going.Third, the internal trades among the construction industries has been increased. It means that the division and specialization of construction industries was going on in 1980-1990. Finally the structural changes of construction industries means that the demand for construction industries as production factor will be increasing and the tendency of service-telecommunicational construction such as Teleport and Intelligent Building will be evident. |
