A Study on the Programming of Computer Aided Estimation System in the Building Construction |
| Abstract |
The Conventional estimation method of building construction used by the most contractors in Korea, has been to calculate quantity by work items from drawings, multiply unit price to these, and then summarize the amount without considering the construction period, method and so on, which influence the cost.In this regard, this study presents a logical flow chart of estimation and methods by steps to develop a new Computer Aided Estimation System, by which can be calculated the exactituded cost in consideration of the construction period and system.Also it can be possible to be prepared the Alternative tender by adaption of this method.An example application of the proposed estimation method to an actual overseas project is provided. |
