| Abstract |
The Objectives of this study are to analyze spatialorganization of streets in residential areas in terms of the Space Syntax Model; to analyze relations of physical and Social characteristics of street and crime occurrence; and to test the validity of methodologies in the Space Syntax Model.As the results, it was found that physical and social characteristics have an effect on crime occurrence and physical characteristics have an effect on social characteristics. Also It was found that Space Synjtax Model could be applicated to analysis of spatial organization in order to predict the social characteristics of space usage, territoriality, accessibility, etc. |
