| Abstract |
This paper aims at understanding the design characteristics and the meaning of ABC's International Constructivism Architecture in Modern Architecture. Especially this paper aims at understanding the concept of functionality in ABC's Architecture. For this purpose, this paper focused on the Russian Constructivism and New Objectivity in 1920's European Art and Architecture. The forms and the plans of ABC's buildings are analyzed and journal of ABC Architecture,ABC-Beitrage zum Bauen, is analyzed with its concept of Neue Sachlichkeit and objective functionalism, and practical application of its concept is examined. |
