Analysis on the Application of Partial Rent Dwelling System to Apartment |
| Abstract |
The partial rent dwelling system-generally called Jonsei-is very prevalent in urban area in Korea. It is, however, rare found in apartment, only so in detached house. This system has positive functions in the situation of housing shortage, as like the supply of dwellings for the tenants and being a financial help to the homeowners throughout the rent. Therefore it is meaningful to testify the possibility ofapplying the system to the apartment. The different ratio of the partial rent dwelling system in each housing type, of course, comes from the differences of plan layouts of each. This paper is composed of two research parts; One is to identify the essential factors in the plan for the partial rent dwelling system, and the other is to testify the possibilityof applying the system to the apartment throughout the case study. Results are as follows;1)The physical factors needed for the partial rent dwelling system are as follows; a separate entrance, a separate bath and kitchen, and a separation of each household in the interiorspace.2)It is possible to apply the patial rent dwelling system to the apartment. In the case of apartment with which physical factors of 1)are equipped, the partial rent dwelling is observed in 60 percents of the surveyed households, which is contrasted with 6.3 percents in the cases that have not the factors at all. |
