A Study on the Actual Condition and Renewal of Conventional Market |
| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to investigate the physical characteristics and fundamental knowledge on the renewal of the deteriorated conventional-market. To do practical study, we surveyed about 143 existing markets supplied in Seoul city. The result of analysis may be summarized as follows.1)The renewal project of conventional market in Seoul city will be encouraged after early 1990s.2)The physical characteristics of the conventional market are 1-3stories, site area 1,000-3,000m2, rate of building volume 50-100%.3)The economic aspects of the renewal project will be increased because of the rate of building volume.The results shows that this study is very useful to identify the charasteristics of conventional market and provide directions for the renewal projects which are going to be actual concerns in near furture. |
