Abstract It is becoming increasingly difficult and expensive for demolition contractors to dispose of building waste. For the environmental reasons, public authorities are looking for the ways of reusing these materials.The purpose of this study is to make advances in the recycling of waste concrete materials as recycled aggregates to make secondary concrete products.Using recycled aggregates from demolished concrete, we manufactured concrete interlocking block for side walk to experiment overall performance in Korean Standard and feasible performances. Size and tolerance, flexural strength, water absorption of each product met KS and freezing and thawing performance showed no differences from ordinary ones. So we concluded that it has great feasibility to apply these products to construction industry.
