A Study on Recycling of Regional Facilities to Maintain Welfare Facilities for the Elderly |
Abstract |
Welfare law for the Elderly has been amended on Oct 1993 in order to correspond with increasing population of the Elderly. Amened Welfare law has two important meanings. One is participation of not only non-profit party but also profit party in welfare section for the Elderly. The other is a changing from protectical welfare policy of the Elderly to independent welfare policy based on region. But it is recent situation that welfare facility are not consist of other region facilities systemicaly. And now, community is faced with increasing population of the Elderly, declining of autonomous acticity by residents and so on. So in order to solve this two problems, increasing of aging population and declining of community, it is necessary to establish new theory of region planning related to region welfare planning. This study is consisted of two part: Theoretical access of community based on regional welfare activity and possibility of welfare community by its case study.In theoretical access, new idea and method are presented to solve declining of regional activity. And in case study, possibility of recycling of regional facilities is presented. |
