Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to survey the defensible space for against crime in high-rise apartment sites. To understand the existing problems of high-rise apartment sites in this sutdy, residential circumstances were investigated through questionnaires, observations and records of the representative four high-rise apartment sites. The results of the study are as follows;1)The resident's fear of crime increases by the height of their residences. 2) The crime associated with a car occurs most frequently, mostly in the outdoor parking lots. 3) The evaluation of defensible space for anti-crime has only recently been made in high-rise apartment sites design. |
