A Basic Study on Items for Analysis of Function in Museum Architecture |
| Abstract |
In the past, the amount of collection was only considered importantly in a museum. But nowadays a museum is important not only for exhibition but also for research and educatuion. Before, studies about planning program of museums considered only scale. Studies took no thought specific character in museums. The final result of study show planning program in scale as well as specific character of museums. And we tried to suggest proper items which are definitely needed in museums. First of all, this study aims to show items of frame of analysis for case study. The results are as follows.1. User of museum classified into six : visitors, trainee, outside researcher, office worker, curator and administrator. In this study, rooms of Korean museum classified into 207 as the function of user of museum. 2. The space is largely divided into exhibition, collection storage, education, administration, curatorial and technical support. And this study shows requisite for selection of items of frame of analysis, which show decreased by 137 in requisite and divided zones. |
