A Study on design Information Management using World Wide Web |
| Abstract |
In a building design project, exchange of the information between participants becomes more important. In this study, World Wide Web technology is used as gateways to various kinds of design documents such as CAD drawing files, images, texts, databases, etc. In Addition, HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is used as a mean of integrating overall design information, WWW can also help users to comprehend the history of the design project. With the use of VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language), which is already built in the WWW, the design can be visualized easily. |
