Title |
A Study on Strucural Performance and Constructional Efficiency of Shear-Keyed Half Precast Concrete Slab |
Abstract |
Half precast concrete (HPC) slab systems have been developed to shorten construction time and to reduce labor cost. Precast concrete members are mostly manufatured at the plant, which requires investment for facility and operational cost. In this study, we investigate the flexural response of HPC slabs and describe the constructional characteristics of site-manufactured HPC slab with a shear cotter. We carried out bending test of HPC beams. Then, applying HPC slab to a building project, we evaluate constructional efficiency of the new system. Also, we provide guidelines for successful and efficient application of a HPC slab system. |
