A Study on the Organization of the Parking Space and it`s Availability of Mixed-Use Buildings |
| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of parking spaces and parking systems in Mixed-Use Building. We say that the different peak time of parking load between housing and commercial zone in Mixed Use Building enables to improve the efficiency of parking capacity. But it is proved that the assumption was somewhat wrong at least in a boundary of field survey on 19 buildings in Seoul and Pusan. The result of this survey shows that the majority of 19 buildings adopt separate parking system in zonning (between housing and commercial zone). We must make a special study on mixed-use parking system in Mixed-Use Building to make preparation for the nearby future when the parking spaces of these buildings is crowded to it's utmost capacity. |
