| Abstract |
One such stuff of architectural concepts and planning methods relating to the capacity of a cultural art center is examined for the purpose of this study. With focusing the planning strategy of the building, through theoretical arguments andsurvey studies, as a unified method in seeking the architectural clue of capacity in the cultural art center, this approach demonstrates that association between a building and its user play a significant role in the making of the fabrics of a proper architectural settings. Analyzing the scale by introducing seat occupation ratio, generally the coming cultural art center should be reduced in proportion to the performing space is suggested. The new cultural need in the future should bring another cultural facility to be sutitable for, if any. With the case study and findings, this researchillustrates the procedure by which architect can determine the most effective capacity criteria of the the cultural art center from the specific range of the seats. |
