A Study on the Establish the Evaluation Criteria for the Facility Planning of the Small Performing Art Hall in Metropolitan Seoul |
| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to examine the elements and actual conditions of existing art halls in order to establish the evaluation criteria for the facilities organization. To achieve this purpose, it analyzed the factors for the efficient use of existing small performing art hall facility environment, such as stage arrangement, horizontal and vertical distance within the stage, and the range of possile viewing angle. Also, it analyzed seating arrangement with the consideration of format of the arrangement, area each seat, the distance to the stage from the seats, the total area of seating floor and the shapes of the floor. In addition, it analyzed the function and ratio of the space being used among the need for dressing room, lighting controlling room, rest room, and the rehearsal room etc. |
