A Study on the Relative Importance of Amenity Factors in Urban Public Open Space |
| Abstract |
Until now, the users' needs has been mostly ignored in considering urban environments. Now, we are seeking for the places of being comfortable and pleasant. Amenity of place is important for it.The purpose of this study is to examine the relative importance of factors which are composed of amenity in urban public open space.The process of this study is as follows.First, the relation between users and amenity were studied through literature survey. Second, Factor Analysis were executed to get the factor of amenity in urban public open space. Third, using A.H.P(analytic Hierarcy Process), the rating of experts' on the relative importance of amenity factor was executed.The main conclusion is summerized to three points.First, users regarded that amenity was composed of openness, access, beauty, convenience in urban public open space. Second, experts made most of openness among amenity factors. Third, the consistency ratio was regarded as being consisted. |
