An Effective Operation and Management Scheme for Construction Joint-Venture Contract |
| Abstract |
Due to the lack of proper regulations and experience and insufficient operational guidelines, most domestic contractors faces a lot of difficulties in executing their Joint-Venture(JV) contract. After reviewing and analyzing various problems resulted from the current JV contract practieces, this study proposes a systematic sheme for the effective operation and management of the JV contract.For the effective application of the JV contract system in the Korean construction industry, this study emphasizes that some amendments must be made on the relevant laws and regulations for the improvement of its bid mechanism, and that each JV member's role and managerial guidance must be clearly determined in each project stage. |
