A Study on the Expressional Principles and Applicative Types of Abstract Art in Contemporary Architecture |
| Abstract |
This study is for analogy of abstract art to solve plateau which derived from intuitional design in architecture. This is payed attention to expression technique or expression meaning internalized in abstract arts. Abstract art pursues simplicity of form, dynamics of space, and transcendence of expression. In related techniques according to that, simplicity of form is established minimum and objet type, and dynamics of space is established kinesis and collage, and transcendence of expression is established collage and ready-made. Therefore, types of abstract art to accept modern architecture can be summarized as follows; 1) Types according to minimum and kinesis - geometric schema, consumption and mobility. 2) Types by collage - defamiliarization, accidental construction of fragments, juxtaposition paradoxical meaning. 3) Types by ready-made - metaphor of meaningless machine, presentation of ready-made things. |
