Planning Guidelines of Storage space in Small-sized Apartments : Focused on the post evaluation of WFS & Built-in storage furniture |
| Abstract |
The primary purpose of this study is to show the planning guidelines of storage space in small-sized apartments. To gain above goal, the questionnaire survey and the analysis of case study of plans were carried out. The results could be summarized as follows: 1)According to the result of post evaluation of the Wall type furniture system and the Built-in storage furniture, the residents' content degree about storage space is higher in adopted housing. 2)The planning guidelines for systematic storage space in small sized apartments are ①'the exclusive storage room' such as 'the dress room' and 'the powder room' and ②'the built-in storage system' should be improved in design and functions, ③'the outdoor storage space' in public space or in ground floor and ④ 'the under floor storage space' should be adopted efficiently, ⑤'the 1.5 story-housing' which of ceiling level is about 3.9m-4.2m should be designed. As the conclusion, the efforts to make up the wider and higher storage space ought to be carried out consistently. |
