A Study on Characteristics of Renovation in the Interior Space of Apartment Housing |
| Abstract |
Renovation, in interior space, has significant meanings with respect to the expressions of various dweller's desires and correspondent relationships in space. The subject of this research were residents of apartment housing which was provided by R and L construction co.. This study aims to analyze relationships between living and space by investigating its renovations. The analysis shows that causes of renovation are as follows; renovation about square's expansion and control of each room, middle door establishment of porch and between living room and kitchen for of each room independency, alternation of sink by concentration on house-keeping, establishment of various equipments, change of room-use by gravity-fluctuation between livingroom and bedroom. So this study shows us that the factors which causes renovation of inner space are change in lifestyle and residents' desire |
