Title |
Implications of Triangular Form and Incarnation of its Exhibition Space in the Archeological Museum of Arles |
Abstract |
The paper clarifies the implications of the triangular form and the spatiality of the exhibition space in the Archeological Museum of Arles designed by architect Henri Ciriani. This study shows that the architect has achieved harmonious unification between interior spatial demands and exterior environments while sublimating restrictions due to the predetermined form to the particular spatiality. The triangular form resulted from architect's instinct has been rationalized by the shape of site and the program. The creative exhibition space in which the modern space has been applied generates the place where natural light, color and objets are consolidated. |
