A Study on a Model of Unit Learning Space in Elementary Schools : Concentrated on the Size Planning for Open Education |
| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to find a reasonable size of a unit learning space which corresponds with an open education system. The proposed size is proposed on the basis of 36 student per class. The actual condition is compared with the recommanded type in the present situation. According to the results, 10.2m×10.2m for the free type and 9.6m×9.6m for the parallel type in the lower grades, while 9.9m×9.6m and 9.6m×9.0m in the higher grades are proposed. This corresponds to 2.56㎡∼2.89㎡ per student in the lower grades, and 2.40㎡∼2.64㎡ in the higher grades. |
