We can see a chronicle that the nobility live in a showy way in Koryo, such as a gorgeous architectural ornament and a stately building. But it is next nothing that positivly datum about Koryo architecture. So we have couldn't grasped essences of Koryo architecture. However, as an analysis of the olden arts in Koryo and of the architectural style surround Koryo - China, Japanes architecture - in the same age, have could extracted architectual factor about Koryo architecture from them. It is the analysis datum that the works of Buddist art; ceramics artistic handicraft; metalic artistic handicraft including architectural design. With this result of the analysys datum, Koryeo architecture might gorgeous than that of Choseon. |
