Abstract To optimum control and design system concerning stability, economization, operating effectiveness, we have to exactly analysis flow properties of duct applying to air conditioning equipment. Especially, it is necessary to research the duct, for increasing overall effectiveness of air conditioning system by suggesting basic data of duct resulting from organic research. So we can contribute to technical developement of duct. According to the experiment on 3-dimensional air flow working properties, we can conclude as followings; 1) The flow from the upstream of main duct outflows toward the branch duct after carring out complicated vortex flow, but the flow appearance is extremely complex. The flux of branch duct passed by about of straight duct flux and others, flux of straight duct, passed by through the main duct. 2) In case of speeding up the flow velocity of the duct, lots of wave velocity component is occured, the value of wave velocity component is large by the mixture of two boundary layers resulting from developing the boundary layer at both walls of duct.
