Title Bending Behavior of Composite Slab using Ribbed Half PC Panel to RC Wall Joints

Abstract Bending behavior of composite slab using ribbed half PC panel to RC wall joints is investigated experimentally for practical use in this study. The purpose of this study is to compare the structural characteristics of composite slab to RC wall joints with those of RC slab to wall joints. Six joint specimens were fabricated and tested; two composite slab-RC wall exterior joints, one RC slab-wall exterior joint, two composite slab-RC wall interior joints and one RC slab-wall interior joint. The initial stiffness, cracking bending moment, ultimate bending moment, deformation ductility and failure mode of test specimens are summarized. The test results show that the structural performances of the composite slab to RC wall joints are equal to or better than those of RC slab to wall joints. Also the initial cracking bending moment and ultimate bending moment of composite slab at joint are larger than the theoretical moments by 38% and 15%, respectively.
