Abstract It is now increasingly recognized that the rheological properties of high flowing concrete can be affected by numerous parameters such as cement, admixture, aggregate and so on. Therefore, it is difficult to evaluate exactly the properties of high flowing concrete in fresh state. Among these factors, particularly, the quality of aggregate affect flowing characteristic of high flowing concrete. The aim of this experimental study is to analyze, compare and evaluate the flowing capacity, spatial passing capacity, filling capacity, resistance against segregation of high flowing concrete according to the kinds of fine aggregate such as river sand, crushed sand and sea sand. As a result of this study, we found that the quality of fine aggregate affects fluidity of high flowing concrete, due to the interlocking, collision and friction in accordance with kinds of fine aggregate. Consequently, it is required to consider the influence of properties of fine aggregate in the actual manufacturing of high flowing concrete.
