| Abstract |
Since the modern age natural and ecological characteristics of Korean architecture have been obstructed behind the rationality of Modern architecture. Now, the contents of Korean arcgitecture must be interrreted through the active apprehension of traditiona1 thoughts and comprehension of traditional speculative systems. To clarify this problems, comparative research between the Noumenon and Phenomenon of western architecture and traditional architecture should be executed. In the architectural design, recognition of the concepts of Noumenon and Phenomenon reflected as critical presumptions. Phenomenon is reflected as primary theme in western architecture, while Noumenon is reflected as primary theme in traditional architecture. In this study, architecturaI concepts of Noumenon and Phenomenon were examined by comparative analysis, and considered as various concepts for architectural design. |
