| Abstract |
The purpose of land suitability evaluation like building site analysis is to investigate land quality for specific uses. Land suitability evaluation generally is characterized as a multiple criteria decision making(MCDM). MCDM can be applied in conjunction with geographical information system(GIS) which effectively manipulate spatial data need for spatial analysis. Many application of spatial analysis in GIS environment have been accomplished through map overlay function, and most commercial GIS overlay methods rely on simple boolean logic. So, consideration for various factors and evaluation methods is essential to deal with complex spatial problems. This paper used a diverse technique to evaluate factors which each cell has. In our study on building site analysis using GIS could compare relative importance among analysis land units(cells) in altemative areas.
