Title Development of Structural Safety Inspection System for Concrete Building Structures

Abstract Safety inspection and assessment integrated system was developed for concrete building structures. The system consists of preliminary inspection, precise inspection, evaluation of structural integrity, and repair and rehabilitation. The preliminary inspection includes damage checkout, crack inspection, building history and environmental effects. The precise inspection includes concrete strength and quality test, re-bar detection, and some chemical tests. Sfructural recalculation and overall structural integrity are evaluated. The repair and rehabilitation proposes the state_of_the_art rehofit methods and techniques including epoxy injection and fiber sheet attachment. The system runs on Windows 95 environment with easy graphic user interface, and the input parameters for the system are rationally determined based on related reference sources. A sample demonstration of the system is given in the paper.
