An Experiment Study on the Properties of the High Strength Concrete Containing Fly Ash |
Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the mixing condition of high strength concrete by partially replacing cement with f1=r ash. This study selects as its experimental factors two types of sand-aggregate ratio (40%, 50%), four contents of fly ash (O%, I0%, 20%, 30%) and a silica fume content (I0%). Compared with concrete using sand-aggregate ratio J0=`=. Concrete using sand-aggregate ratio 50% increased slightly mixing of superplasticizer to get the same slump, increased slump loss according to elapsed time. The replacement proportion of fly ash more increases, air content and unit weight more decreases. As sand-aggregate ratio decreases, that is also the same. In the workability. Of high strength concrete by the replacement proportion of fly ash, as fly ash increases, slump and slump-flow were decreased by 2r3cm. As it is showed that the compressive strength decreases when the replacement proportion of fly ash is 30 percent. It is proper that the optimum replacement of fly ash is 20 percent. |
