| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to understand the inner space of the Buddhist sanctum and enshrinement of statue in Koryo Dynasty The result of this study is as follow. In ancient time, diverse Buddhist statue like as Buddha or Bodhi-sattva, Four Devas, deceased Buddhist priest and the like had been enshrined in a sanctum. But the number of Buddhist sanctum in a temple was increased by seperation of the Buddhist statue possessing his shrine, and the floor space of the main Buddhist sanctum was reduced in Koryo dynasty. |
