Design Process of Multy-Family Housing Estates Based on Decision-Making of the Environmental Friendly Design Factors |
| Abstract |
Design of environmental_friendly housing estates has not been considered important in Korea, because it was necessary in Korea to construct high-rise and high-density multi - family housing. The purpose of this study is to propose an improved design process for environmental- friendly multi_ family. Housing estates using importance of design factors. The importance and the priority are determined using group decision_making method and analytic hierarchy process(AHP). The importances of design factors are ranked in the following order ; Extension of open green space. Environmental_Fiendly arrangement of buildings, manmade stream and biotope, small vegetable farm and greenhouse, interior garden and roof garden, disposal system of garbage, environmental-friendly parking _ outer and underground parking _, saving system of resources and energy, utilization of natural and reproduced materials, and flexible equiments and facilities. Design process is determined to make the existing process fit to design of environmental-friendly multi-family housing estates |
