A Study on the Service Space of the Small-sized Apartments in Korea : Focused on Bathrooms and Utilities |
| Abstract |
The Apartments that play an important role in the solution of residential problems have many problems in the creation oof comfortable residential space. Because we have attention to suppliance of house. Especially, ae the spaces of house wives who stay a longest time in house, domestic spaces, for instance,bathrooms and utilities, are used very often. So there are many inconveniences and demands. Therefore this research examines dweller's behavior and dissatisfactions discontents, demands in bathrooms and utilities of existing apartments, to understand problems and new demands. And it aims at proposal of new direction in atchitectural planning. The dicsontents from small space have a large protion in the problems, but they come from 'small-sized apartments' So setting them raise another problem of decrease of other parts. This study investigates the existing small-sized apartments and propose settlements to find out the way that do not increase the space of utilities and bathrooms but improve their fufnctions. |
