A Deductive Study on Committee System and the Problem of General Buildings in Seoul |
| Abstract |
The study intends to analyze the system of architectural design committee and the problem of general buildings in Seoul. There are thirteen committee systems and seven facilities which take charge of them. This study shows the system deductively the whole systems and tries to see it at bird's-eye view and to find the typica issues in them. The issues starts from client's stand and focus on the ploblem of simplification and rationalization of the system. There occur many cases of charging heavy duties to client by the long process and duplicate committee. And the times of review is too short to handle the plan meticulously and the appreciating standards are too abstract, so it is difficult to make objective committee. Most of the cases the clients can't enter the committee so they can not have the chance to present their intention so many cases clients and architects accept the result of committee against their will |
