An Experimental Study of the Outdoor Reset Control for Radiant Floor Heating System |
| Abstract |
An experimental facility consisting of two identical rooms(3 x 4.4 x 2.8m) was built. Each room had a control system for radiant f100r heating system. The facility enables simultaneous comparison of two different control strategies implemented in a separate room. The performance of three kinds of temperature control concepts including multi_step outdoor reset control was tested and compared. Results showed that multi-step outdoor reset control of hot water supply temperature could maintain the room air temperature within. The therma1 comfortable range and conserve heating energy. |
