| Abstract |
Although the basic concept of vacuum window was already initiated in l89S, it had not been deve1oped completely until now becaus8 of the lack of manufacturing technoIogy. Recently a few countries including Korea showed nearly the possibility to succeed in manufacturing it. Therefore 2-dimensional radiative heat transfer for double pane window and vacuum window was analyzed with PHOENICS software in order to use on the effective design of vacuum window. As the result of analysis, the effect of low-emissivity coating glass and frame materia1 for the thermal performance appeared bigger at the vacuum window than double pane window |
