Abstract |
The purposes of this study is to understand the problems of ETABS modelings for analyzing column-supported walls and to propose the better and easier analysis method. The building made with column-supported waII system has a transfer girder in which excessive shear and bending stress occur The analysis model using ETABS that member stiffness can be obtained aIong with the column lines causes the difficulty getting stress on shear wall to beam connection. To solve these problems, analysis results of various modeling methods are compared on the results of finite element analysis. The result of a analysis model in which the kansfer girder is substituted to vertical and horizontal line element shows the good agreement with the results of the finite element model |
