A Case Analysis on the Acquisition Process of Construction Management in Korea |
| Abstract |
Since the Korean construction market was widely opened in l997, the Construction Management has been referring as one of the best alternatives that could be figured out in order to overcome the current crises in the Korean construction industry. The examples of Construction Management applied to the construction project in Korea are so rart. But it is so obvious that there are a few good practices of Construction Management, so called 'Project Management Service', to be performed on the mega public proJects such as Nuclear Power PIant, High Speed Railway and New International Airport Construction. This paper aims to clarify the reality of the CM in Korea by means of comparative investigation into actual practic&s from the acquisition process. |
