Abstract |
Architectural design education in korean universities has been conducted with being separated to lecture and studio, and with design projects of building types repertories. Goal of this study is to propose the improvements of architectural design studio education based on cognition developments, then to achieve more efficiency in learning to design. This study limits to the relation between lecture and studio, and to design projects repertories. The contents are cognitive schemata, transition of design method and design education, improvement of design studio, case studies of studio program and the conclusion. It is suggested in order to improve the design education that lecture and studio is not to be separated but to be integtated to total studio, and design projects is composed not with building type tepertoties but with design solution type repertories. |
