A Study on the Planning for Low-rise High-density Housing Complexes with Patios |
| Abstract |
This study is aimed at Presenting design guide lines for with patios. For this purpose, the relation with layout and density was analysed and it found out that the layout with patios is the best way to meet the high-density need. To define design guide lines, a computer simulation program was developed. This simulation has two objectives; one is for trendency in theory and the other is for application in real. In results of simulations, it reveals that the minimum site area for housing complex with patios is 0.2ha, and it is possible to meet the needs of both developers and users by comprehensive consideration. |
