Title |
Comparison of the Noise Levels depending on the Design of the Passing Tracks in the High Speed Train Terminal |
Abstract |
It is the noise that creates most problems in the high-speed train termin誠s where trains are passing the tracks over no kwyh. Predicting noise levels of the Passing trains, measured noise levels and referred data on noise of TGV were used to calculate sound power levels of high-speed trains. Also, noise criteria for high-speed trains were suggested considering ATPA and ASHRAE regulations. The Present study simulated seven different designs of the passing tracks of a high-speed train terminal (Nam-Seoul Station) in order to know which design could satisfy with the suggested noise criteria Computer simulations were employed to predict noise levels of each condition using ODEON program. As a result, among the seven designs, glass covered closed tunnel is required, at least, to satisfy the 91 dBA noise limit at the flatform when the trains are passing at 300 km/h |
