A Study on the Development of Apartment Defects Information Management System in Korea |
| Abstract |
The defects of a building bother the residents and the builders. To manage the defect problems of the apartment houses efficiently, and furthermore, to reduce the defect problems, we developed an apartment defect information management system. Defect information is consisted of information which is transmitted from the construction phase to the maintenance phase, and information which is occurred during or after building maintenance. To construct the apartment defect information database, we draw up the data file layout using the defect data we collected. We made a sample apartment defect information management system with this file layout using MS-Access97 and MS-Visual Basic 5.0. |
